What is Micro-Needling?

It is a pen-like medical tool with a series of tiny, sterile needs located in the tip. These needles move over the skin and penetrate below the surface to a specific depth to create micro-channels that are invisible to the naked eye.  This process stimulates the production of new collagen underneath the skin, restoring structure and strength. Micro-needling also helps restructure collagen fibers to tighten and lift loose skin. After the skin is "opened up" during the micro-needling process, it absorbs the additives to stimulate your own growth factors in rejuvenating your skin.

The new skin tissue is, in turn, more even in tone and texture. It’s normal for the skin to lose collagen via age or injury. By encouraging the skin to make new tissue, there may be more collagen to help make the skin firmer, too

Micro-Needling addresses the root causes of aging, namely decreased collagen and elastin production.  It is one of the most effective ways to turn back the clock without surgery.

How Long Does It Take To See Results From Micro-Needling?

Most patients see results after the first treatment. Individual results vary depending on individual skin health. It is most common to begin to see true changes or positive results as soon as 1 -2 weeks after the first treatment.
